What this covers
This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or place an order, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to Metra Peptides and to this website only.
What we collect
Information you give us. Name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number where supplied, and the contents of any message you send us. This is the information required to take and fulfil an order and to answer you afterwards.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page. This is ordinary web traffic data used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
Payment information. Card details are entered with our payment processor and are handled by them. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Why we use it
To process and dispatch orders, to provide certificates and order support, to prevent fraud and misuse, to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, and — where you have asked for it — to send batch release and restock notices.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies
We use cookies and equivalent local storage to keep your cart and researcher verification between pages, to remember whether you have already seen a promotion, and to measure how the site is used.
We also use the Meta Pixel, which sets a cookie so that Meta (Facebook and Instagram) can measure which visits and purchases came from Meta and can show you our content there. See Measurement below for what it receives and how to opt out.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser. Doing so will not stop you browsing the catalog, but the cart and the verification prompt will not persist between visits.
Measurement
We use PostHog on this site and in our store to understand how they are used — which pages are visited, which links are followed, where visitors arrived from, and roughly where in the world they are, derived from IP address. It also records product events such as adding an item to the cart or completing an order, so we can see where a purchase becomes difficult.
PostHog also records sessions: a replay of how the page looked and what you clicked, scrolled and typed, including the name, email and address you enter at checkout. We use these replays only to find and fix problems with the site and the checkout, and we look at them only when something has gone wrong. Card details are never typed on our pages, so they never appear in a replay. We do not build advertising profiles, and analytics never receives the contents of messages you send us. Where analytics data is linked to you at all, it is linked to an account identifier we already hold because you placed an order.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honour it and no analytics is collected. You can also block analytics by blocking cookies, or by using any content blocker — the site works either way.
PostHog processes this data on our behalf and only on our instructions.
We also use Google Analytics on this site and in our store for the same kind of usage measurement. Google sets its own cookies and processes the data under Google's privacy policy; we have not enabled advertising features, and it never receives card details or the contents of messages you send us. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, by blocking cookies, or with any content blocker.
We use the Meta Pixel on this site and in our store. It tells Meta which pages you view, which products you look at or add to the cart, when you start checkout and when you complete a purchase, together with the cookie it sets and information your browser sends such as IP address. Meta uses this to measure our results and, if you have a Facebook or Instagram account, may match it to that account under Meta's own privacy policy. It never receives card details or the contents of messages you send us.
You can opt out in your Meta ad settings, by blocking cookies, or with any content blocker — the site works either way.
Ask us at info@metrapeptides.com and we will tell you what is held against your account and delete it on request.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions: our payment processor, shipping carriers, our email provider, and our website host and analytics providers. Meta receives the measurement data described above and acts as its own controller for it.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are retained for as long as required for tax, accounting and regulatory purposes. Marketing contact details are retained until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is retained while it remains useful for servicing your account.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, and you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights over your personal information. Write to info@metrapeptides.com and we will tell you what applies and action any request.
Security
The site is served over encrypted connections and access to order data is restricted to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not retain the data that would be most damaging to lose — full card numbers are never in our hands.
Age
This website is not directed at anyone under 21 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
